Dwayne Johnson was one of the many celebrities who backed Joe Biden in the 2020 Election.

Now he’s reassessing the political situation in the country.

And Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made one 2024 decision that had all hell breaking loose.

Dwayne Johnson shifts gears ahead of the 2024 Election

Professional wrestler and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson endorsed President Joe Biden in the 2020 Election against former President Donald Trump.

But after seeing what’s happened in the country during Biden’s Presidency, he announced that he was no longer supporting him.

He told Fox & Friends he thought backing Biden in 2020 was the right decision but reassessed his support for the President because of the state of the country.

“Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer is no,” Johnson said. “Do I believe we’re going to get better? I believe in that. I’m an optimistic guy.”

Johnson said that he was no longer going to endorse because of the divisiveness of politics.

“The endorsement that I made years ago with Biden was one I thought was the best decision for me at that time,” Johnson explained. “I thought, ‘I’m in this position where I have some influence and I felt it was my job then to exercise my influence [and] share: This is who I’m going to endorse.’ I’m not going to do that. I was then, the most followed man in the world, and am today, and I appreciate that . . . but what that caused was something that tears me up in my guts — which is division. That got me.”

The Rock raised eyebrows when he said that he was an opponent of wokeness and cancel culture.

“Today’s cancel culture, woke culture, division, etc — that really bugs me,” Johnson said. “In the spirit of that, you either succumb to that and be what other people want you to be, or you be yourself and be real . . . and that might make people upset and piss people off, and that’s okay.”

He’s also been rumored as a potential Presidential candidate for both parties but he denied that he had any interest in becoming a politician.

“No, that’s not my intention,” Johson explained. “I’m not a politician.”

Johnson confirmed that “several” political parties had approached him in the past about running for office.

The Rock reveals a secret about Hollywood and Joe Biden

Last November, Johnson appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast where he revealed that many of his friends in Hollywood don’t support Biden but are still Democrats.

“Dude, it’s the craziest thing. I have friends who support Trump,” Johnson stated. “I have friends who support Biden.”

Rogan asked him if he actually had friends who backed Biden.

“Oh no, no, no, no, no . . . That’s a good check because that’s important. This is important context. […] I have friends who are loyal to the [Democrat] Party,” Johnson added.

This is just another sign the tide is beginning to turn against Joe Biden after people experienced his disastrous leadership in office.
