Joe Biden is on the ropes heading into the 2024 Election.

He’s trying to do damage control to keep his struggling re-election campaign afloat.

And Joe Biden confirmed he’s worried sick about this awful problem costing him 2024.

Joe Biden releasing emergency oil to save his re-election chances

President Joe Biden began waging war on American energy production on his day in the White House with executive orders.

His administration has taken over 150 actions that make it harder to produce oil and gas.

Gas prices hit a record high during the summer of 2022 before he began to flood the market with oil Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to lower gas prices before that year’s Midterm elections.

The SPR is supposed to be the backup supply of oil in case of a serious disruption to the market to keep the country afloat.

But Biden cravenly used it to try and save Democrats from the wrath of angry voters during that November’s election.

Now gas prices are on the rise with the summer driving season fast approaching and oil refineries switching over to producing more expensive environmentally friendly blends for summer.

With his political career on the line this November, Biden is once again releasing oil from the SPR.

And he’s celebrating the fact that he’s using the country’s emergency supply for his own political gain.

The Department of Energy announced that it was releasing one million barrels of oil from the Northeast Gasoline Supply Reserve (NGSR), part of the SPR.

The NGSR was created in 2012 after Superstorm Sandy battered the northeast disrupting the supply of gas in the region.

“The Biden-Harris Administration is laser-focused on lowering prices at the pump for American families, especially as drivers hit the road for summer driving season,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said of the releases. “By strategically releasing this reserve in between Memorial Day and July 4th, we are ensuring sufficient supply flows to the tri-state and northeast at a time hardworking Americans need it the most.”

Granholm isn’t even hiding the fact Biden is tapping the emergency supply to lower prices.

Republicans slam Biden for using oil to boost his re-election campaign

The current national average for a gallon of gas is about $3.60 according to AAA.

Inflation and the soaring cost of living are massive political liabilities heading into the election.

Polls show that former President Donald Trump holds a significant edge over Biden on inflation and the economy.

Republicans slammed Biden for trying to use the nation’s emergency supply of oil to boost his re-election chances.

“President Biden is yet again using America’s emergency fuel reserves to cover for his disastrous inflationary policies in an election year,” U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) wrote on X.

“This is ridiculous,” Representative Randy Feenstra (R-IA) wrote. “Instead of depleting our oil reserves, the President should support American energy production.”

Biden drained the SPR down to its lowest level in about 40 years to try and save his bacon in 2022.

Now he’s trying to use it again for his political advantage while there’s a major conflict in the Middle East.
