CNN is an echo chamber for the Democrat Party’s groupthink.
The failing cable news network is celebrating the criminal trial of Donald Trump.
And Kristi Noem spoke five words about Donald Trump on CNN that left the host fuming.
Kristi Noem calls out the absurd criminal case against Donald Trump
The trial for Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s sham criminal case is getting underway against former President Donald Trump.
Bragg is inventing a crime out of thin air that Trump had his former attorney Michael Cohen falsify business records to hide a payment to Stormy Daniels as part of a nondisclosure agreement.
He falsely claims that this was a federal campaign finance crime – which his office has no jurisdiction over – to avoid a scandal during the 2016 Election.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem appeared on CNN’s State of the Union where she gave host Dana Bash a reality check about the Trump trial.
“My hope is that all Americans can trust our judicial system, and that’s really what this case will prove out,” Noem said. “I think it’s a little ridiculous that they have waited years to bring these types of charges against Donald Trump. If they wanted to make these kinds of charges against him, they should have done it years ago, when this happened. To do it conveniently during a Presidential election, when he’s campaigning to return to the White House, I think it proves that this is all politically motivated.”
Bragg waited until 2023 to indict Trump after he launched his latest Presidential campaign by resurrecting a zombie case that had been left for dead by his predecessor Cyrus Vance and the Biden Justice Department.
“It’s the way that Democrats are fighting these days, it’s using the judicial system and activist judges to do so,” Noem continued. “My hope is that the people and the jury will do what is right and hear the evidence and see clearly that this is an unprecedented trial, but it’s unprecedented in how ridiculous it is.”
Bragg’s star witness has serious credibility problems
Cohen is the key witness in Bragg’s witch hunt but the former Trump lawyer was admonished by a judge earlier this year for lying under oath.
“Michael Cohen has lied before Congress multiple times,” Noem said. “That’s their main witness. I would say that he certainly is not someone who can be trusted to do the right thing during this jury trial. They’re also using a woman’s testimony who signed a letter saying that this affair did not happen, that she has testified in the past that this never occurred.”
Daniels signed a letter in 2018 denying that she ever had an affair with Trump.
“What a ridiculous case that this is,” Noem added. “And that it’s based on, the narrative today that is coming from a man who’s proven to be a liar. So, uh, I’m hoping that this judge makes the right decision. I’m hoping these jurors can come in and be unbiased. And we’ll let this case go forward in a swift manner that allows President Trump to get back on the campaign trail.”
Donald Trump is facing a kangaroo court designed to try and upend his Presidential campaign to hand President Joe Biden a second term.
