Donald Trump is the leader of the Republican Party.

Never-Trumpers like Nikki Haley can’t stand it.

That’s why Lara Trump is running for one position that has Nikki Haley in a tizzy.

The Republican Party currently belongs to Donald Trump and his supporters.

Trump Rules the Party

Trump’s 2016 White House bid and election as President led to grassroots conservatives taking back control of the Republican Party from the George Bush/Paul Ryan/Mitt Romney wing of the GOP.

Despite their best efforts, the establishment has not been able to take back the GOP from Trump.

They thought the 2024 Primary would present the perfect opportunity to finally take down Donald Trump, especially with him also facing Joe Biden’s lawfare.

However, Trump once again proved them wrong and kicked off the Primary with a record 30-point margin of victory in Iowa.

Trump’s rise to power also influenced the top positions at the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Ronna McDaniel’s Tenure is Over

In 2017, Trump picked Ronna McDaniel to lead the RNC after she served as Chair of the Michigan GOP and helped lead him to victory over Clinton in the Wolverine State.

McDaniel’s efforts made Trump the first Republican to win Michigan since 1988.

But McDaniel’s leadership abilities did not carry over with her to the RNC.

Since McDaniel assumed power, Republicans have lost every election since 2018.

Not only that, but the RNC is also struggling with fundraising on her watch while Joe Biden is raising money hand over fist.

Vivek Ramaswamy called on McDaniel to resign during a GOP debate and eventually got his wish when she announced she would be departing after Super Tuesday.

Trump is supporting North Carolina Republican Party Chairman Michael Watley to succeed McDaniel in the upcoming election to pick a new RNC Chair.

But Trump also recommended his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, to serve as the Party’s new Co-Chair.

Nikki Haley:  My word means nothing

And apparently, RINO Nikki Haley is furious over it.

In fact, Lara Trump running for Co-Chair sent Haley into such a fit of rage that she is going back on her signed pledge to support the Republican nominee.

On Sunday, Haley appeared on MSNBC’s Meet the Press.

“Have you moved to a place where you’re no longer planning to endorse him?” anchor Kristen Welker asked.

Haley dodged the question.

“Well, I think, first of all, if you talk about an endorsement, you’re talking about a loss,” she said. “I don’t think like that.”

“What I can tell you is, I don’t think Donald Trump or Joe Biden should be President,” she added. “I don’t think we need two candidates in their 80s.”

Welker tried once again to get Haley to answer the question.

“Let me try it this way, you did sign a pledge, an RNC pledge, to support the eventual nominee,” she said. “Do you still feel bound by that pledge?”

“I have always said that I have serious concerns about Donald Trump,” Haley shot back.

She then claimed the pledge does not matter because of Lara Trump’s candidacy for Co-Chair.

“The RNC pledge, I mean, at the time of the debate, we had to take it to where ‘would you support the nominee,’ in order to get on that debate stage,” Haley said. “The RNC is now not the same RNC,” she continued. “Now it’s Trump’s daughter-in-law.”

“So you’re no longer bound by that pledge?” Welker asked.

“No,” Haley declared, before adding,  “I think I’ll make what decision I want to make, but that’s not something I’m thinking about.”
