It’s all hands on deck for the Democrat Party with Joe Biden down in the polls.
Now they’re trying to enlist celebrities to help him.
And Meghan Markle got off the sidelines and into the 2024 fight with this major decision.
Misinformation is the latest buzzword used by Democrats for speech they don’t like that paints the target for Big Tech censorship and the media to try and discredit it.
During the 2020 Election, the New York Post’s bombshell story on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop from hell was falsely accused of Russian misinformation.
That set the stage for a stunning act of censorship that could have tipped the election to President Joe Biden.
Now the Left is returning to their misinformation playbook to prepare to crack down on stories unfavorable to Democrats ahead of the 2024 Election.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry getting involved in the election
Democrats’ latest fear for 2024 is the potential for misinformation to be created by artificial intelligence (AI).
Royal couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are joining an effort to warn American voters about AI misinformation during the Presidential election.
Their Archewell Foundation is working on developing content for a campaign run by former low-level Homeland Security official Miles Taylor.
Taylor became famous on the Left for writing a bogus piece anonymously in the New York Times warning that Trump was dangerous while he was working at Trump’s Homeland Security Department.
Now he’s warning that AI will be used to create fake videos and pictures during the campaign.
“This is a disaster waiting to happen,” Taylor said. “No one’s doing the public inoculation.”
And Taylor is up in arms because Biden’s censorship regime is falling apart.
Biden losing his ability to censor his political opponents
Twitter was a willing ally of the Democrat Party by censoring stories like Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Now the Left has lost their grip on the platform after it was purchased by Tesla Founder Elon Musk.
And Biden’s ability to coordinate with Big Tech on censorship was hampered by a landmark court case last year.
The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals found that the Biden White House, FBI, and government officials violated the First Amendment by instructing Big Tech to censor information they didn’t like about the pandemic.
That case has cut down on the coordination by the Biden administration and Big Tech.
“The government isn’t talking to social media companies. Many of the social media companies don’t want anything to do with the government — which means novel AI threats could get missed,” Taylor told Axios.
Taylor, through his The Future US group, is working with Hollywood, marketing executives, and social media influencers to warn voters in swing states about fake AI images.
He wants to use “satirical and comedic campaigns” to target older, less tech-savvy voters.
Of course, any misstep by Biden on the campaign trail like a fall or freezing up can be explained away as an AI fake.
Democrats are pulling out all the stops to ride to the rescue of the President.
