Michelle Obama confirms her 2024 plans
Michelle Obama shut down the rumors that she was eyeing a Presidential campaign.
“As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for President,” her communications director Crystal Carson told NBC News. “Mrs. Obama supports President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ re-election campaign.”
That appears to close the door on Michelle Obama riding to the rescue of Democrats at the last minute.
Joe Biden is all but certain to be the party’s Presidential candidate this November.
And that spells bad news for Democrats’ chances of holding the White House.
