Matt Gaetz is one of the conservative firebrands in Congress.

Now, the GOP establishment wants him gone.

And the “Swamp” is going to war with Matt Gaetz after this big announcement.

Republican establishment furious at Matt Gaetz for Kevin McCarthy’s ouster

Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has become one of the outspoken supporters of former President Donald Trump in Congress and a warrior for his America First agenda.

That put him on the bad side of the go-along-to-get-along Republican establishment in Washington, D.C.’s “Swamp.”

It became an all-out war when Gaetz introduced that motion to vacate the chair against then-Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) last October.

He and seven other House Republicans removed McCarthy as Speaker because he refused to use his leverage to force concessions from President Joe Biden in spending bills.

That decision put him in the establishment’s crosshairs for the historic removal of a Speaker.

A seething McCarthy has been taking potshots at Gaetz with bogus ethics and criminal allegations.

And he signaled that he was going to challenge the eight Republicans who voted to remove in their Primaries.

“I’m a free agent now, aren’t I?” McCarthy said last year about backing Primary challengers.

The former Speaker and his political allies in the “Swamp” have been recruiting Primary challengers against the eight conservatives who voted to remove him and attack them with a constellation of outside groups.

Matt Gaetz gets a Primary challenge from a woke Black Lives Matter supporter

At the last moment before the candidate filing deadline in Florida closed, a Republican challenger, Aaron Dimmock, filed to run against Gaetz in the First Congressional District for the August 20 Primary.

Dimmock, a former Navy pilot, had the same campaign treasurer as a PAC affiliated with McCarthy.

Gaetz quickly pointed out that his Primary challenger was woke and supported Black Lives Matter.

“Meet [Aaron Dimmock] – the BLM supporting DEI instructor running against me in the Republican Primary,” Gaetz wrote on social media. “I knew former Representative McCarthy would be getting a puppet of his to run. I didn’t know it would be a Woke Toby Flenderson!”

Toby Flenderson was the human resources rep on the NBC sitcom The Office.

Dimmock’s LinkedIn page showed numerous posts supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and statements supporting Black Lives Matter.

He works for a company, Chapman & Co., that does leadership training for businesses.

Dimmock shared a post for the company that said, “We commit to audit every business process to ensure they reflect a culture of inclusion” and “serve non-profits advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

When violent Black Lives Matter riots were burning down major cities in the summer of 2020, he shared a post with “#blacklivesmatter.”

Florida’s First Congressional District is the most Republican district in the state and gave Trump more than 65% of the vote in the 2020 Election.

Gaetz welcomed Dimmock to the race in a statement to the Daily Caller.

“I’m excited to welcome Missouri-based DEI instructor Aaron Dimmock to the campaign. This is Trump Country. Our pronouns are USA and MAGA,” Gaetz said. “I’m a proud Trump Republican. I stand shoulder to shoulder with President Trump to defeat Joe Biden, secure our border, restore our economy, and support our veterans.”

The establishment made a colossal blunder by picking a woke Black Lives Matter supporter to challenge Matt Gaetz.
