Nikki Haley is still in the Presidential race for some reason.

She refuses to take the hint voters keep dropping as they hand her crushing defeat after crushing defeat.

But this anti-Trump, pro-Big Business establishment group made one announcement that officially put Nikki Haley’s campaign on life support.

Cutting off the money faucet

The only reason former Trump UN Ambassador and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has been able to carry on the charade that is her failed Presidential campaign is because of the financial support of the ruling class elites.

Establishment RINOs, corporate elites, the military industrial complex, lobbyists, and Democrat megadonors all flooded Haley’s campaign coffers with millions of dollars in the hope she could stop former President Donald Trump from winning the Republican Presidential nomination for a third consecutive election.

But that pipe dream obviously hasn’t even come close to coming to fruition.

In fact, this past weekend, Haley suffered yet another massive defeat, losing to Trump by a whopping 20 points in her own home state of South Carolina.

And apparently, that loss was the straw that finally started to break the camel’s back for Haley’s ruling class benefactors.

According to a statement from the anti-Trump, pro-Big Business political action committee known as Americans for Prosperity (AFP) – which has been one of the RINO establishment’s biggest proponents of amnesty for illegal aliens – the Koch-backed organization will no longer be spending any money on Haley’s campaign in light of her soul-crushing defeat in her home state.

Quite the “strong endorsement”

While AFP’s decision to cut spending for Haley’s effort is a very clear admission of defeat, the group’s CEO Emily Seidel claimed that the failed Presidential candidate had somehow “shown us again and again that we made the right decision in supporting her candidacy and she continues to have our strong endorsement.”

But “given the challenges in the Primary states ahead, we don’t believe any outside group can make a material difference to widen her path to victory,” Seidel added.

Of course, the reason AFP doesn’t believe any outside group can “widen” Haley’s path to victory is because it’s literally impossible to widen something that doesn’t exist.

Instead, AFP will be diverting Charles Koch and other ruling class elites’ donations to supporting establishment, pro-amnesty RINOs in House and Senate races across the nation.

Furthermore, despite the fact that polls continue to show Trump not only leading Biden head-to-head nationally, but also in the top-seven battleground states many believe will ultimately decide November’s General Election, Seidel claimed that if the former President remains at the top of the GOP ticket, Democrats will somehow seize total control of the White House and Congress, and establish one-party rule over the U.S.

“If Donald Trump is at the top of the Republican ticket, the risk of one-party rule by a Democratic Party captured by the Progressive Left is severe and would do irreparable damage to the country,” Seidel concluded. “The last 3 election cycles have painted a very clear picture of what we can expect from voters who consistently rejected Donald Trump and his impact on the Republican party brand. This has been reinforced by the recent elections in Virginia in 2023 and the special elections in New York and Pennsylvania just this month. And we should expect this to increase further as the criminal trials progress.”

They’re not who you thought they were

While establishment hacks like Seidel enjoys pretending as though they have any clue how to actually win elections, AFP’s decision to wave the white flag on Haley’s failed Presidential run is yet another example of the establishment being completely disconnected from the reality working class Americans experience everyday.

Despite claiming to represent and work on behalf of the American people, organizations like AFP exist to serve their ruling class overlords’ interests above all else.

That’s why they spent millions of dollars trying to convince voters that Haley was a legitimate Presidential candidate, and why they will spend millions more trying to convince them that whichever establishment RINOs they support in House and Senate races are “conservatives” – or worse, the “lesser of two evils.”

But fortunately, organizations like Americans for Prosperity, and many others who claim to be part of the conservative movement – or as some have taken to calling it, “The Big Con” – are being unmasked for who they truly are.

And the fact that AFP is finally waving the white flag after spending millions of dollars to prop up Nikki Haley’s failed Presidential campaign is yet another sign that their influence is waning.
