Democrats are in crisis mode over Joe Biden’s re-election campaign.

They’re scrambling to find a way to drag him across the finish line in November.

And Hillary Clinton broke a hard truth to Democrats about Joe Biden no one saw coming.

President Joe Biden isn’t going to be able to hide from the mounting questions about his age and mental competency on the campaign trail.

Special Counsel Robert Hurt’s report that revealed he couldn’t remember what years he served as Vice President or even what year his son Beau died ensured that Biden’s age would be front and center this election.

Hillary Clinton tells voters to accept that Biden is old

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did little to calm the fears of voters during an interview on the SiriusXM show Mornings with Zerlina.

“Somebody the other day said to me: ‘Well, but, you know, Joe Biden’s old,’” Clinton recalled.

“I said, ‘You know what, Joe Biden is old. Let’s go ahead and accept the reality. Joe Biden is old,’” Clinton said.

But Clinton told listeners that they need to get over Biden’s age and vote for him anyway because former President Donald Trump is a threat to the country.

“So we have a contest between one candidate who’s old but who’s done an effective job and doesn’t threaten our democracy,” Clinton continued. “And we have another candidate who is old, barely makes sense when he talks, is dangerous, and threatens our democracy.”

“So, really, pick between your two old ones and figure out how you’re going to save our democracy,” Clinton added. “Because no matter where you stand on the political spectrum, you want to maintain freedom and the rule of law and protection for people’s fundamental rights, or at least I used to think so.”

Democrats have been trying to figure out how to handle questions about Biden’s age and mental acuity.

Some members of the party and their media allies have laughably turned to claiming that behind closed doors, Biden is sharper than ever.

That someone doesn’t translate into his frail appearance in public, his gaffes, and his claims of speaking to long-dead politicians.

Clinton told them to just lean into it and hope that voters ignore it because they claim that Trump is a threat to democracy.

Voters are worried about Biden’s age

Fear mongering over Trump doesn’t erase voters’ very real concerns about Biden’s age.

A New York Times/Siena College poll found that 61% of people who voted for Biden in 2020 think he’s “just too old to be an effective President.”

An ABC/Ipsos revealed that a staggering 86% of Americans think Biden is too old to be President.

Telling voters that Joe Biden is old and to get over won’t alleviate Americans’ growing concerns about his age.
