Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive health is becoming a major issue in the 2024 election.
Democrats are trying to keep this truth from the American people.
And now Joe Biden’s handlers banned him from doing this one basic thing.
Joe Biden’s handlers want to limit Biden’s public exposure
In the 2020 campaign, Biden’s handlers used the global pandemic as an excuse to keep Biden away from the public.
Biden hid in his basement rather than run a traditional campaign.
In 2020, Biden – who was 77 at the time – was clearly showing warning signs as he would forget what state he was in, what office he was campaigning for, and couldn’t tell his wife from his sister.
But the pandemic is long gone.
Biden’s handlers need a new excuse to squirrel Biden away from the voters.
The more Biden appears in public the more it will remind voters that he’s 82 years old and in significant physical and mental decline.
So now Biden’s handlers came up with the 2024 edition of the basement campaign.
According to NBC News, Biden’s handlers banned long speeches or extended public appearances.
“The approach also has the appearance of a strategy aimed at minimizing the potential for Biden to make mistakes in a razor-close election. Some of Biden’s verbal missteps have occurred when he’s talking at length, veers off the prepared text or answers a reporter’s question when that wasn’t part of the plan,” NBC reported.
“Shorter, crisper remarks from Biden are part of his campaign’s broader strategy of having him appear more in smaller settings that the president’s aides believe serve him better than large, traditional rallies with voters,” the NBC report continued.
“Some of Biden’s advisers have been pushing for him to go even further in attempts to sharpen his public appearances. They’ve argued for the president to replace prepared campaign remarks entirely, in favor of less scripted retail stops and punchier, digital content where he speaks directly to the camera,” the NBC report concluded.
Why these changes
Biden would only grow older and more decrepit by the day.
Polls show as many as 86 percent of Americans think Biden is too old for the job.
Biden’s handlers think an “out of sight and out of mind” strategy is their best hope.
The less the public sees of Biden, the less inclined they will be to see his age as an issue since it’s not in their face.
But that’s not the only game of smoke and mirrors Biden’s handlers are playing to keep any embarrassing images of Biden away from the public.
Biden’s handlers now have his aides surround him when he walks across the White House lawn to board Marine One.
The purpose is to prevent footage of Biden walking since his gait’s impaired by age and injuries.
“Instead of walking across the South Lawn to and from Marine One by himself, he’s now often surrounded by aides,” Axios reported.
“Some Biden advisers have told Axios they’re concerned that videos of Biden walking and shuffling alone — especially across the grass — have highlighted his age,” Axios also reported.
