American voters have a clear contrast in front of them this coming November.

They know what life was like for four years under then-President Donald Trump – and they’re feeling firsthand what life is like under incumbent President Joe Biden.

But now President Biden is hoping voters don’t see these brand-new numbers exposing his biggest failure compared to Trump.

Biden’s border crisis is top of mind for voters

Poll after poll indicated that border security is one of the top issues for voters heading into the 2024 general election.

The estimate of the number of so-called “migrants” who have broken the law by entering the United States illegally during Joe Biden’s time as President is now more than 11 million.

To put that massive figure in perspective – that’s about the population of the entire state of Georgia, a state large enough for 16 electoral college votes and in the top ten most populous in the United States.

The border crisis brings with it, human trafficking, drug trafficking, and infrastructural problems border towns simply can’t afford.

According to a study by the House Homeland Security Committee, the illegal alien population within the U.S. is costing American taxpayers an estimated $451 billion annually.

And now new numbers are out and if border security does indeed decide the next President of the United States, these numbers will bode well for Team Trump.

Three years of Biden is worse than the entire decade before him

Each month when Customs and Border Control release the number of illegal aliens coming into the United States, they separate out “gotaways.”

Gotaways are considered illegal aliens who are witnessed crossing the border, but who eluded law enforcement.

Fox News has released a new report comparing gotaways during the Biden Administration to gotaways under then-President Trump.

While White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre loves to say that Biden has done more to secure the border than any other President, the numbers clearly tell a different story.

In fact, the results aren’t even close, with the number of illegal aliens escaping border control agents absolutely exploding under President Biden’s unwatchful eye.

There have been more gotaways in the first three years of Biden’s terms (1.6 million) than there were in the entire decade before he occupied the oval office (1.4 million) – and that decade includes six-years under President Barack Obama.

In fiscal year 2021, the first under Biden, there were 387,398 gotaways – that’s almost three-times as many as the worst year under Trump.

But that number pales in comparison to the past two years – with 606,131 gotaways in fiscal year 2022 and 670,674 in fiscal year 2023.

Trump’s four years in the White House featured gotaway figures of: 104,294, 128,679, 151,466, and 136,808.

No end in sight

It’s important to note that when the Biden Administration tries to spin statistics and brag about the job they’re doing at the border, the numbers they use do not include the 1.6 million gotaways and counting under Biden.

In order to make Biden look stronger before election day, his administration has floated the idea of a cap of 4,000 border encounters per day at which point the border would be “shutdown” for the rest of the day.

Over the course of the year, Biden’s so-called “cap” would allow for almost 1.5 million encounters.

And again, that supposed “cap” would not count gotaways.
