Chuck Schumer is fighting to hold his slim majority in the Senate.

He needs everything to go his way if he wants to keep control.

And Chuck Schumer was gasping when this video came back to haunt a vulnerable Democrat.

Vulnerable Democrat breaks his promise to voters in a video on the border

Pennsylvania has emerged as one of the most important swing states in the country.

Former President Donald and President Joe Biden are locked in a hotly contested race for the state’s 19 Electoral Votes.

But the Keystone State is also home to one of the most important races for the Senate this year.

U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) is trying to fend off his Republican challenger Dave McCormick.

McCormick’s campaign uncovered a video of Casey from his first Senate campaign in 2006 claiming that politicians needed to explain to voters why they hadn’t secured the border.

Casey was challenging then-U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) in the 2006 Election and was trying to attack the GOP incumbent on border security.

“Anybody in Washington, who goes around and puffs their chest up and says, ‘We’re going to be tough on the borders,’ if they’ve been there for several years or many years, they’ve got a lot of explaining to do,” Casey said at the time.

Casey went on to beat Santorum that year, which turned out to be one of the worst election cycles for Republicans in decades.

Now Casey is the one who has a lot of explaining to do to voters in Pennsylvania after his opposition to Trump’s border security policies.

Biden’s border crisis has turned illegal immigration into one of the top issues for voters this election cycle.

Bob Casey’s record in the Senate is coming back to haunt him

McCormick campaign spokeswoman Elizabeth Gregory slammed Casey for his dismal record on border security.

“Before joining the swamp, Bob Casey pledged to be tough on the border,” Gregory said. “One look at Casey’s eighteen-year record proves that was a lie. He’s voted against the border wall, for mass amnesty, for sanctuary cities, against money to detect fentanyl, and against deporting criminal illegals. Pennsylvanians deserve a Senator who will secure our border and keep them safe, and that’s Dave McCormick.”

Casey voted against Trump’s border wall and other border security measures in the Senate.

And he voted in favor of giving federal benefits to illegal aliens and in support of sanctuary cities.

Now the Pennsylvania lawmaker refuses to say whether he opposes Biden’s plan to flood the country with hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees from Gaza.

Casey campaigned with and accepted the endorsement of Indivisible Philadelphia, a far-left group that wants to defund the police and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

A recent New York Times/Siena poll found that Casey had a slim two point lead over McCormick.

His 18-year record in the Senate of being a rubber stamp for every far-left Democrat policy could cost him big time this November.
